Chinese teen sells HIS kidney to buy an iPad 2

I thought it was rumoured that the Chinese government sold the organs of the many many people they executed?

If he was to die because of it it wouldn't be too big a lose. Let's face it, even the gene pool needs a little chlorine.

Lolwut. Apple have done nothing to you.

Premium prices and running costs for shiny fan boy products. Things seem to keep going wrong outside warranty cover and I've had enough of buying the services of their 'geniuses' and extortionate hardware prices to keep the thing going.

'Oh, you've just bought a Macbook Pro? Well, next month we'll have yet another model on sale with an even higher hardware level - I know you've just settled on it but you'll have to buy the new one to stay in with the crowd and latest hardware'

Hopefully he finds a decent job or something and does not end up in Foxconn making them for the rest of his life, as that would really be ironic, then Apple can get the rest of his body.

They only update them once a year so if that's a problem then maybe a little research should have been done beforehand.

Besides druggies and alcoholics, I don't think many people would. Despite the amount of stupid people we have in britain, I don't think many are foolish enough to put their own health at risk. Then again, having said that, if the price were large enough (20k private offer for example) then I'm sure that would be different for people who want to pay off debt etc.

i'd consider selling a kidney for 100k but then again anyone who can afford to pay 100k is also likely to pay a lot more.

250k starting bid for my kidney aslong as its performed in a good hospital with after care treatment until im fully back on my feet

What if for some reason a year later, your other kidney starts to fail, you get a disease of the kidney or onset diabetes etc. and then require a new one. Would you not feel an utter fool and like you had basically let greed get the better of you're previously untroublesome life, putting yourself now in a life-threatening position?

What's the point in spending the best part of £2k on a brand new machine every year? I might be a tight arse but that's a bit excessive.

If its too expensive for you, don't bother with it.

Apple stuff isn't for everyone but calling it 'bad' is just silly.

I didn't say it was bad, I said the running costs were 'premium' in comparison to PCs. The build quality is pretty decent, I've bought Apple since I was 17. My gripe is people, like in this case buying into the brand too much. Having an overwhelming desire to buy into it at such an ongoing cost when better for cheaper could be had elsewhere.
