havin trouble deciding what to buy out of these 3 :(
hdd.JPG

someone help me out lol

Er . . how much space do you want? Go for the 500. Its cheaper per Gb than the other 2.
250Gb = 17.8p/Gb
320Gb = 15.0p/Gb
500Gb = 13.1p/Gb

I'd also go with the WD, it is both larger and faster than the other two (or at least the difference between it and the Seagate is near enough negligible in normal use).

As a minor point the word is "choices". :)

thanks for spelling correction i thought it was wrong and couldnt figure it out lol
as for the hdd's i dont really need 'much' space but still need summot better then my current 160 gb one, so i think i may go for the 320 gb one, costs lil more 'per gig' then the 500 but £65 overall is a bit pricy and i dont need that much :)

im looking for BOTH price/gig ratio and overall cost so the 320 is pretty cheap cuz its only a lil extra then the 250, so worth it..... the 500 gb is £65 o/a

Also wahts the YS like?

The clue is in the full name, it is a Raid edition drive which usually means they are expected/tested to perform better in a continuously on environment i.e. in a Raid array for a server (if it doesn't use SCSI anyway). They quite frequently have a longer MTBF but generally any hard drive has such a long MTBF that it is purely an academic point. :)

why? the 320 i got on my list costs £48.16 the ones you suggest is £51.69 small price gap but whats the difference?

Quality, speed, reliabilty, the fact i just generaly would rather western digital. Im suer the other is reliable but they just arnt hailed as the best and id rather have the best :)
