I still struggle that with 330million people in one of the most advanced nations, arguably the only remaining super power in the world the best the USA can do is a a choice between Trump or Biden. Seriously? The best of you? The person you want to lead and set the example for the USA? Good grief Chalie Brown... :rolleyes:
 
Honestly - one would launch the nukes, wipe out the human race and then claim it was fake news and the other would love to if only he could get the blanket from over his lap and not have forgotten why he walked from the residence to the oval office in the first place. :)
 
Pfft, erm… I want to see more funding for education, the NHS, Police and Military along with a strategy to deal with or thug culture (carrot and stick) and also a system to tackle climate change. All issues that have been ignored by previous governments for decades. So…

Why the **** do they both have to be so old as well.

Why would anyone want a ~ 80 year old in charge of....well anything, let alone the biggest superpower and military on the planet.

Populist politics.. the longer you have lived the longer you have had to become popular..

can you name any other US politicians? I know of that lady, AOC for her dancing and the wack job who’s taking on Disney.

One has become popular among his peers due to the time as a politician and serving under a previous president.
the other for reality tv shows and his “businesses”..

having said that, US politicians normally come from a dynasty of previous politicians.

The trend for celebrities and social media types getting involved in politics is that they say something slightly divisive but human and gain support… so continue along those lines… then descend into extremism and absurdity, or just plain trolling.
 
B because why not. A is boring but still dangerous. Conservatives are useless and just managing a decline into further mediocrity. Biden is active damaging America with his border policy.

UK would be better served with introduction of new third party and change to voting system. And US by electing someone who would put government back on track and face up to credible issues like China etc
 
It would have to be B for me. Although I don't like Starmer and think he is pathetically weak the Tories have to go. It would be nice to get rid of the SNP in our elections as well but sadly I don't think that will happen.

As for Trump, if the Yanks are stupid enough to vote for that idiot they deserve all they get. Unfortunately it will probably have a world wide impact. Why on earth hasn't someone taken him out yet?
 
Gotta be B for me, Trump to MAGA(A), and a Labour government here. Not sure I'm going to be able to stomach voting for Labour again though.

I must clarify, that although some might want a Labour government due to the politics of envy, a disdain for traditional values and childish naive yearning for a big state and progressivism, I want a Labour government to create the conditions necessary for an actual conservative party to rise to power. We are not the same.

Option A I fear serves only as an extension of the current quiet desperation.
