Hi all,

I'm after a new boot drive, and I'm looking at the following three...

All are fairly close in price so this is a non-issue; I don't understand why there's only £1 difference between the two with 32mb cache (I gather platter density on each will make for some difference in performance?), and I'm not sure whether the 64mb cache on the more expensive of the three will make a difference either?

Would appreciate some input :)

I think the difference between the 500GB and 640GB ones is just the size.

The third has bigger cache so it should be be faster. 6Gb/s removes the transfer limit that SATA 2 has although from what I last read the HDD shouldn't go past that limit anyway.

Overall, I would probably go for the last one for the bigger cache and I guess it's newer but realistically there is very little difference.
