Just built my new system got myself a standard sata 1.5tb but want to purchase a solid state drive for running the os which would be a good value drive not to expensive but enough room for the operating system! This is for a gaming system then use the 1.5 to save large files

I generally use the SSD for OS & all other applications used on a daily basis. For storage & gaming use mechanical drive as they take up space fast. So if you're looking on the cheap a smaller SSD will fit the bill

i have today swapped a 64GB M4 for a 256 gb M4 in my HTPC for games and OS.. if you dont want games, 64GB is plenty

I will have (just arranged) for a 2nd 128GB M4 to go into my main rig for RAID 0 256GB for games and OS, when this gets full ill add another or go for a 512

so 3*M4s
