Chris Moyles Longest Show

^ fair point. I know he is really love and hate sort of guy.

Its just the people saying they listen every day and hate him...??? dont listen then!

Well looking forward to the next hour, should be really good!

I can't stand Chris Moyles, or many of the Radio 1 presenters either.

Doing a show this long, is quite impressive within there sphere of radio. So kudos to him.

To all the people saying "haters, don't listen to Chris Moyles then", that isn't the point. This thread is (based on the OP) to discuss Chris Moyles longest show, whether that be people saying they don't like it or do like it.

Huh?

Well surely if you don't like Moyles you wouldn't be moronic enough to spend any of the 37 hours listening to him?

Apologies but I don't get what point you're trying to make.:)

You might be listening to him now for a few reasons,

a) You listen to the other shows throughout the day/night that Chris Moyles is now sitting in on and getting involved in.
b) You like the other members of his team such as Comedy Dave doing the event with him.
c) You have an interest in this piece of radio history.

I personally am not majorly keen on Chris but I do sometimes have it on in the car as some of the things they do are laugh out loud funny. As soon as he annoys me I switch over though.

My point therefore was that this thread is for discussing the longest show (love or hate it), not loving Chris Moyles himself - or at least this is the way I understand the thread.

I will be sending in a few texts when he reaches the 37hr record point. Wish them all good luck too.

£227,000 over 15 hours

Gotta give the man credit where credits due.. hes doing a good job of raising money for a good cause regardless if hes still using it to further his career.. hell .. i would if it raised some money and got me further ahead in the game.

Maybe its not just Moyles but the who coup of them together that makes it worthwhile listening/watching and fair play to them though i never knew scott mills was gay until all that controvesy over his gay tv documentary whatchamacallit a while ago!

MistaJam's show was funny :D

Listen too him on BBC 1Xtra most nights, was good a laugh :)

^ I liked jam, never listened before.

I really dont get all this hate for the man, I listen every day on the way to work and the podcast if i'm bored and driving anywhere and he has never annoyed me, I've been listening since he did the afternoon shows years back.

I'm not trying to start an argument but why do so many people hate him so much. I know he can be a bit full of himself but i think that makes the show, if I had one of the most popular radio shows on the world I would be just the same + i'm sure most of us would be too.

£268,000 fair play to them!

Right, is this thread just pointless trolling about how people hate Moyles? If you don't like him, then don't listen. I don't like watching Desperate Housewives but I can do something magical when it appears on my TV, change channel to something I would like to watch. Same rules apply to the radio.

I forgot about this, turned on my radio on the way home, immediately went "WTF?!" and switched back to CD. I then switched back and thought I'd bear it out and fortunately music came on.
