The guy on the receiving end of that should have given him a slap TBH especially if he got up in his face, totally unnecessary behavior. What a complete **** stain boo hoo.

Commenting abbot a topic without hearing the audio clip itself is a bad move in this case...

I don't care if he's "working" great, thousands of other actors can do it perfectly fine, why do CB and Cruise have to become children whenever something annoys them is the question

So you think you know exactly what it's like to be in his position?

Do you honestly think that you can judge, whilst being fair, what has happened from one audio clip of only a tiny part of what has happened whilst sat comfortably on your desk chair?

Everyone who has a significant standing in Hollywood must be like this. They're just smart enough to present a more-mannered image to the public.

James Cameron, Spielberg, Tom Cruise et al; I bet they're all ***** behind closed doors, but then thats what got them to where they are in the first place.

From the audio clip, yes I can. I don't see the point of your argument either.

Uhm from the audio clip, yes I can. I don't see the point of your argument either.

In the clip the DP is trying to rationalise why he was working with the lights, you can hear him in the BG, never once do you hear him raise his voice.
Bale shouts about the DP not being professional and how his professional relationship with him is ruined now. Well what a hypocrite. He moans about professionalism whilst proceeding to rip a new anus hole in the worst possible way out of someone in front of everyone?

Some professional.

As for the armchair warrior comment, give over. I work in an office yeah but I also work with people outside all the time, I know what a stressful job is but like many, I also know how to control myself when someone does something wrong.

Bale does not have any defence in this instance for the way he acted. Even his superior (or whoever it was that came to calm the situation) is trying to reason with him to calm down...

Bit OTT but the guy sounded like a pleb and had decided to have the last word, it comes down to the pecking order, Bale being higher up it, so the lad should have just accepted he did wrong and bugger off instead of trying to argue his case and trying to get the last word.

KaHn

It went on a bit long but the reaction isn't particularly harsh or too far IMO.

The other guy should not be arguing the way he did. He obviously messed an important scene up and got a reaction. He should just have walked away.

Who is more important between a lighting dude and the star of the film who is possibly the most sought-after actor in the world at the moment?

Know your place ;)

I'm sure being an actor is more stressful than you realise.

You're trying to pretend to be someone else, somewhere else, in front of cameras, with the burden of the film being worth several hundred million dollars and your career resting on your performance.

If I was in that situation, I'd probably be quite irritable too. I'm not justifying it but I can see quite easily why it may happen.

Blimey, what a complete ****!

It doesn't matter what the situation is, nobody should speak to another colleague in that manner. He even screams at him for being unprofessional lol!

I really hope this somehow comes back to bite him in the arse....perhaps as its in America the guy will sue him for assault :p

the guy shouldn't have done it. simple as. hes been in the job long enough to have that kind of common sense on the set so why he did it is beyond me. thats why cb was so annoyed.

imagine you are trying to do an emotional scene in front of camera, all your emotions are charged up for it and then some berk wanders into your eye line in the middle of it. distracting you for a second and the moment is ruined.

the fact that he knows better makes it worse and he couldnt seem to understand what he had done wrong was just further antognising cb.

Haven't heard it as I am at work atm. But it sounds like some guy was messing about whilst shooting a scene and it was causing distractions.

Fair play to get annoyed if he is trying to act and stay in character and some guy is making noise and being distracting in the background. It would be only fair to tell the director to tell him to f off.

On the other hand, no need to be a douche about it. If he has over stepped the mark by being abusive he should apologise no doubt.

There are, however, many photographic directors in Hollywood available (I'm guessing there are) and there is only one Christian Bale, who is getting paid Millions to do the film. Who do you think gets priority on set? :p
