Ahh yes, the holiday that's signposted so far ahead by the time it actually rolls around you're worn out from it being hyped sucking out any actual joy from the occasion, but you can't show it, because it's the holiday of enforced joy where showing anything but manic euphoria is met with accusations of humbug, sourpuss and scrooge.

I used to have a cracking Christmas, at Woolworths, a really cracking Christmas, shopping spree.
