Christmas Dinner

No it's not. If "vegetarian" was the name given to someone who didn't eat mammals then yes - but it's not - it's animals. Fish are animals.

It is still a type of vegetarianism
"Semi-vegetarianism — A diet in which the only animal flesh consumed is seafood and/or poultry, in limited amounts."

LOL at semi-vegetarianism, is that like if someone doesn't go to church very often they're a semi-christian? :p

Look it up on Wiki it is a proper term :p

It may be in Wikipedia, but I still think it's a stupid term.
How is someone semi-vegetarian? Surely that's an omnivorous diet? If I eat chicken every other day does that make me semi-vegetarian?
How about if I just chicken once a week?

What exactly is a limited amount of seafood and poultry anyway?

EDIT: Also, why would not eating red meat make me a semi-vegetarian? What about if I eat red meat and choose not to eat fish or poultry, is that also semi-vegetarian?

In relation to this thread it is better to use the full definition of "vegetarian" as if you cook her fish only to find out she doesn't eat it it could be a bit awkward.
