Christmas lights 2023 - too early?

Broke our normal rule of 'not before the daughter's birthday' on her begging to put them out.

I usually have my lights up for the 1st December cause that’s when Christmas starts as far as I’m concerned. Keep them up for new year too cause you‘ve got to celebrate that too! Is it not a thing in England?

Those are 2 individual sets that I snagged in the Wilko closure paid £7 for both sets combined.

I have more planned for next year but I need to upgrade to a 150w PSU.

Is it wrong that part of all this is to annoy my bah-humbug next door neighbour (hence the grinch near his window) ?

Check out Twinkly light kits. They’re not Wilko specials but they’re great fun to play with
