Christmas Lunch

What's wrong with a couple of fillet steaks? Ridiculously easy to make, hassle free and takes all of 2-3 minutes in a frying pan to cook.

Serve that with your roast potatoes, veg etc. Make your own sauce and voila :)

A nice dinner a 10 year old could do.
 
I've never actually eaten goose that I can remember (yes, I know) - how would you describe it? Like a slightly gamier chicken?

I can't find the words to describe it, but believe me that it is bloody fantastic!

We'll be getting a goose this year again I think, got a turkey last year (for the first time in my life that I can remember!) and it was a big disappointment (and the cook is very good). I don't understand why Brits insist on having such a bland, uninspired and boring meat for the biggest meal of the year.

I want swan one year.
