Yeah i know, but theres been various people who have said that given to watch specialists who have never heard of them, rate the price to be as far as £1600.Bunka said:Just looked at their website and considering the most expensive watch I can see is £185, then surely a decent Rolex, Breitling etc. is infinitely better.

Nope. Not as far as I'm concerned.mk1_salami said:Or am I wrong![]()
mk1_salami said:One of the main reasons people spend £2k+ on a watch - which a Rolex is going to be - is as a status symbol. I appreciate people also value the type and quality of movement.
But in my eyes, a man shopping for a rolex wouldn't consider a £150 "never heard of it" as an alternative - unfortunatley no matter how good the inner workings are.

Yes i understand that, i was just simply wondering about these watches thats all.Gilly said:Thing is people can rave about the quality of a £150 watch, my Seiko is high quality and actually cost me less than that, but they don't compare to high end watches.

Especially look at the Grand Seiko and King Seiko sections. I do warn you though, some of those will be very hard to get hold of in Europe, and you may need to get them imported from Japan.
