Cider...how did I miss it?

You've got to try Jacques fruit cider - choice of 2 flavours. Don't let the posh looking bottle put you off.

It's not as fizzy (more sparkling) as Magners or Kopparberg so you definitely feel less gassy afterwards.

this

buy it the in wine bottled sized bottle, they're very morish

For some reason we don't drink cider in the states

Yes you do, you call it hard cider :p to be fair though only ever seen it in a few places .

I made a few gallons of my own last year, me parents have got about a dozen apple trees at their place, so I bought a little press.
Turned out delish :D

To quote Ned Flanders:

Damn Sexy Flanders said:
If it's clear and yella, that's juice you got fella! But if it's tangy and brown, you're in Cider Town!

:D

I like bulmers and magners quite a bit. Brothers strawberry cider is really nice but so hard to find. I tried another cider last year at a pub, had a greenish label with an apple on, fairly small brown bottle i think. Was really nice but i cant remember then name.

Green Goblin maybe? That's quite good.

I don't like really sweet ciders like Bulmers and Magners though. Brothers is the worst for this :(

LOL

Westons Organic or Stowford Press are the best commonly available at the moment.

Definitely :)

I think the only cider I could drink now is an ice cold bottle of Kopparberg Pear Cider while sitting in the warm sum. Feels like a proper summer drink to me :) but after one or two bottles it's too much
