One good thing about Cinebench 2024 is that it runs cooler, about 77C on my PC vs 85C with Cinebench r23. My CPU can run all day at 89C so no worries.

Anyone check my Cinebench 2024 13900K score for me, just built PC and want to make sure all seems ok, thx

13900K multi core score 2198,

single core score 133,

MP Ratio 16.53 x

All at default speeds by the way, and bios default, i mean i turned off asus overclock settings in bios, and choose use intel defaults, just want to make sure cpu is performing as it should be, etc Thx

Windows 11

That makes sense given other video rendering benchmarks, such as blender or adobe premiere also show the 4090 way ahead at rendering workloads

I've found scores for Apple silicon for referencing. A m2 ultra scores around 8000 in the GPU test

About half my CPU score with the current version of CB at much greater power use (double?) So GPU’s seem to be still pretty far behind.

I can't get this to run on my 8700K system.
To be fair I couldn't get anything after CB15 to run on it, but CB20 and CB23 would at least start up but not work (I could do a run via command line) but CB24 won't even start. I see the processes running in task manager but it never starts.

Shame I'd like to see just how off the pace that system is.

Bumping this back up with a comparison to the previous build. Pretty much as you'd expect - multi core better, single core a little slower (GPU lower score is probably down to me backing off the overclock just a bit given the warmer weather).

***edit***

Interesting. If I use Process Lasso to force CB24 onto the frequency cores instead of the cache ones (so CCD1 instead of CCD0) it picks up 3 points.
