Cinebench23 13700KF 6100Mhz First out the box test

@gerardfraser Did it finally settle down to 62 single, 57 all core?
Sorry late reply.Actually I did not run CPU-Z again just went to PC Gaming at 5500Mhz until yesterday
I get 2345 in single core thats just with asus AI OC mode enabled.

41326 with all core (5.6ghz)
Not sure if you were comparing to score I posted last month.Well I ran the 13700K again without recording at the same time.At 6100/5600.Can not compete with 13900K on multi and I got a cheap ASUS Board it does not have SP Rating or AI OC thing.
Single-2397
Multi-32689

For anyone interested 13Th Gen Test in PC Gaming for CPU Boost clocks with 4 different power plans and 3 games, only 3 games tested because that is all I felt like editing

Tested On 13700KF with Windows 11 22H2 (OS Buile 22621.900) with Different Power Plans Up To 6000Mhz.

I set CPU clocks at 5800Mhz low to 6000Mhz max.May be easier to see CPU boost clocks in PC Games tested.

Power Plans tested for CPU boost clocks
High Performance Win11
Ultimate Performance Win11
Intel Core Ultimate LowPower Win11 v1-By Mannix
Intel Core Ultimate Performance Win11 v1-By Mannix

I tested 3 different games, two game just running around the other game a cut scene to see CPU boost clocks.

I also did not bother syncing to the 0.001 of a second, was just testing to see boost clocks.

I’ve recently upgraded my GPU to 7900XTX and I’m CPU bound in a couple of games using a 12600k. I was thinking about upgrading my whole system when the 7800X3D comes out. But now I’m starting to think should I just drop a 13700k in there and be done with it. I’m using a Z690 mobo but I’m only using DDR4 do they pair well with this memory?

What resolution are you playing? Does it matter that you are cpu Bound? Do you need more frames in the games you are cpu bound?

Buy whatever you want to satisfy that upgrade itch, just do not expect much.

I have owned a 12600K and 13700KF on Z690 motherboard. I played games at 2K/4K depending on GPU in use ,with RTX 3070Ti/RTX3090/RTX4090 and there was no real difference between the two CPU's.

Now with new 7800X3D still will not make much difference in CPU bound games at 2k.With 7900XTX you will see some gains in some games even over RTX 4090.Then again AMD might crap the bed and X3D chips might bomb.

i thought that the 12th 13th gen chips are mainstream consumer chips for gaming PC's as such, and the core x series chips being the professional workstation CPUs thats designed for 4k playback rendering ect n benching with cine bench, no?

thought the core x having no replacements or refresh for the past 3 years_
