Cities: Skylines

If I order from GreenmanGaming for the £16.78 standard edition, do I get a digital downland or is a actual physical copy that gets posted? If it's a download I presume I will get a key emailed.

I have never used GMG before. The only online game purchases I have made are WoW and Elite: Dangerous. They have been from the Dev websites/shop.

Yup just for my key now from greenmangaming :)

It's just a key that you put into Steam that you get, most people seem to have their keys from GMG now so you should get it pretty much straight away :).

I'm not building my hopes up too much, I usually get hooked right into them when building my first cities but after a few times doing that it becomes much of the same thing. Hopefully though with this the modding community and regular updates will keep it fresh.

Also, if anyone hasn't had their email yet, you can also login to your GMG account, go to Games from the dropdown menu beside your login name at the top, then in the Steam games section it'll show you the Steam key.

I haven't had my email yet, but my key is showing in there.

Hassle?

You download FlyVPN, open the program, click Americas, click Brazil and Click Connect.

Hardly hassle.

Buy from GMG:
Load URL, create an account (if you dont have one), go to VIP section, click to buy the game, click complete, enter payment info, job done.

Buy from Nuuvem:
Download VPN, Install it, run it, select location, connect, load url, learn Portuguese or run through a translator, attempt to create an account with bad translations (there was 1 odd textbox entry, i have 3 accounts!), find the game, click buy, click complete, disconnect from VPN, enter payment info, job done.

Its 3x more work, for £16 vs £12, when £16 is a bargin to begin with.
Im not saying it shouldnt be used, but its far more complicated and involves faffing about installing software and likely dealing with a site you've not heard of before or never used before. Anyone comfortable wont be bothered by doing that, but its additional hassle they wouldnt need to do at GMG (FTR, i think ive bought 1 game from GMG, and 8 from Nuuvem).

Chrome + Hola. Chrome auto translates the page. It's almost as easy as buying from GMG.

Please don't rely upon these reviews. User reviews and watching streams are much more indicative.

I was really looking forward to Sim City after all the trailers/hype and early press previews. Even after the online only stuff a number of gaming press sites were still high on it.
I was gutted when that was revealed and lost interest in it. Just checked the metacritic user score for SimCity and it 2.2
Glad I held out for a real City builder game to come along, and after watching a few streams I think this could be it.

Good to see positive reviews though as I've already pre ordered :p
