Civic Type R, the proper one...

Shame your 330D had a spaz at Donington when we lined up down the back straight - almost had the chance of a drag race to prove wich was quicker, remapped 330i vs 330D.

Of course, you would have lost.... :p

Lol yeah - bizarre as it's never been like that since, think it was still a bit autistic from the remap the day before :p

It's retired from the track now, but I think I might run it at Santa Pod this year to see what it can do :)

I've got to ask, have you considered an Alpina 3 series? Might be a laugh. I tried an E39 Alpina before buying my 330i, was well impressed.

Yep, big numbers and ironically I'd be tempted if i had £30k to spend it on something non-Alpina! Tis good **** though, yummy.

I hope the Lemon leather looks good in the flesh...

@Fox (or anyone else who knows how), can you do anything whizz bang with a reg chacker and confirm the engine code, and subsequently that it is an ED variant?

Part of me is cautious because it's the only manual 2007 57 325i M Sport that came up under £20k, but from the photos, it does look like exactly the sort of dealer I like to buy from. I bet he's in his 40's, worked in sales for years then set up on his own, relying on internet ads and appointments only, running out of an industrial unit where the cars condition and price matter more than a flashy suit and showroom with all the patter. Very difficult to haggle with though...

You can use the DVLA site to make a vehicle enquiry (for RFL purposes of course) and read the CO2. Then at the BMW site you can see what the ED model CO2 output is and match it up....or not as the case may be.

With that particular car the output is 170 which makes it an ED one, dealer might not have realised this which could explain the keen price.

I was hoping the Germans would be less prone to this human trait:p

Ive never ever got anything close to any stated MPG figures, on any car.
