FD2.

My search skills are weak; I just can not find feasible CO2 data on this car.

Litchfield Imports site suggests 200g/km which I suspect is a small fib.

Also, whilst I'm at it - dont suppose anyone here has driven said torqueless wonder?

Not driven one, but been in one around Silverstone...felt very good from the passenger seat, lsd helped pull the front in through corners, and the back was always edging around to help too :)

Should be pretty much identical to the DC5, no?

I'd tend to agree, but I want rock solid confirmation of precisely what Gordon will want to take from me before I bother getting excited about a test drive.

That figure rings a bell... UK EP3?

You need an SVA if the car's less than 10 years old don't you?

i fail.

However it should be the same if not +/- a few grams....they use the same engine, the FD just uses a k20z with the lame-o drive-by-wire if I recall correctly.

I recall with the DC5 - different owners had different CO2 readings on their
V5's. Some owners used low CO2 readings as selling points - cheaper tax than others on the market.

I'm interested in one, but I don't want one with a silly CO2 figure on the V5.

How do you get from a 320d Touring to an FD2? What's happened?

Something happened at work that means I might not be doing mega mileage any more. If that turns out to be the case then quite frankly the BMW can **** right off. :p

Does it really matter than much in the grand scale?

Dunno, at 40% I guess so?

I need to play around with one of the tax calculator thingies but I need the CO2 and also need to understand what hmrc mean by notional value as there's no UK OTR price for these things.

Fox is gonna love you... :D

So you're going from a diesel passat to an FD2, and Jonny has gone from a DC2 to a Honda Insight... It's a MINT advert just waiting to happen... :D
