This has made things confusing now as I claimed several people before the rule came into effect. So what I want to know is are they still my property and if not who owes me the money?

I never asked either. I just assumed it was something that some members said and as such was just a harmless bit of fun.
It seems I was wrong and it's become a banning offence. Personally, I'd have clamped down on some of the bullying that goes on in GD but... :confused:

Everything that is moderately funny is slowly getting banned from here,

We aren't allowed to have our little in-jokes that have developed in this community

No more thanks for the info, no more claimed, no girlfriend thread, we have only just got back the random pictures thread and i'm not sure but I think we aren't allowed xzibit any more either

Huddy started it a very long time ago when he claimed Desmo and it was funny in the context of the thread (it is probably still in the archives) but as with a lot of jokes it got beaten to death by people not realising that simply repeating a joke over and over doesn't make it funnier, quite the reverse.
