Is there a mod that turns the fighting into a hack & slash instead of turn based yet?![]()
Same, though i flip flop between stat fatigue and hypertweaking each character to death. there is so much to mess with and rebalancing is cheap if you horde resources like i do.What was everyones main go-to group? Im with Verso, Lune and Maelle. Was going to give that last character a chance but not sure with the random nature of his skills. Didnt really want to waste more points again either. Used a few early on with a character I dont bother with now.
I just chuck Pictos wherever man. The less time spent in the menu the better. Sometimes I pick them up, and I’m like meh, I’ll check it out at a later date.Same, though i flip flop between stat fatigue and hypertweaking each character to death. there is so much to mess with and rebalancing is cheap if you horde resources like i do.

I generally go with those that seem to fit the story at the time but level them all pretty much equally. If you explore a bit there are plenty of resources available and it's good to have a reasonable plan B if you get wiped near the end of a tough fight. What was everyones main go-to group? Side content is waaayyy overtuned and a lot harder than the main story, unless you turn down the difficulty to easy ... and even then some bosses will one shot kill you. I did about two thirds of the side content but just gave up ... I'd had my fill of the combat and reliance on perfect reflexes. It became exhausting. I should add, it is possible to grind levels and deal silly damage to compensate for the difficulty. But again, I didn't feel like wasting my time to do that.I’m nearly at the end of this, and what a game.
I haven’t enjoyed a game this much for ages.
Although I haven’t done much of the side content. Is it worth fully exploring to do it all?
I wish there was a map when you were in the areas so I didn’t forget where I’d been
I’m only around level 40, and it does take me a while to finish some battles.Side content is waaayyy overtuned and a lot harder than the main story, unless you turn down the difficulty to easy ... and even then some bosses will one shot kill you. The gameplay loop you describe is the same all the way to the end.Is this really as good as everyone thinks it is? Is it? or is everyone caught up in the hype train?
I'm not saying this to be contrary, it's a genuine observation/ question.
I'm declaring it is not that good. I've put about 6 hours in. I love the aesthetic, overall feel and the potential of the story did grip me for a fair while. It's also nice to see some attractive women for once in a game again too. No jaw jut. No hairy armpits. - halle ******* luja!
But after a few acts it's just starting to feel like an extremely linear, shallow, connected series of turn based combat sessions. Run along a bit, round the bend, oh look it's yet another battle. That I have to do. No stealth, no nuance, just forced guidance segwaying between fights. Does it change things up as you progress further, or is that essentially it?
I was in shock. I’m near the end of the game (I thinkJust finished Act1 and got hit by a bombshell that left me in shock, so much so that I put down the PS5 controller and switched off for a few hours!
