I understand, in my home town, there is quite a problem with homeless people. They are generally all dirty, smelly and drunk up on alchol. Wallowing in their on filth, in street doorways and shouting abuse at passers by.

The clamps will be bolted on to any homeless person found motionless or asleep after 9pm at night. This is the time when they start accumulating in doors ways. The clamps ensure that any drunk causing a blockage are forced to stay put when they wake up. They have proberly been sick too. They are then to be prosicuted and punished.

I think its outrageuos this could be allowed in these days today.

Oh you'd fit right in with the SS. What a scumbag post.

Might it have occured to you that some of these people are genuinly incapable of supporting themselves?

If you read my post, you will see I am against it. We need to rally support to prevent this from happening in your home town.

Why dont you just close your eyes and pretend they dont exist? or maybe we could all chip in and arrange some nice discreet death squads to round up these subhumans and remove the problem?

I really don't think this will help. I feel for them, I really do. I am just reporting what is being done in my home town

Proof if proof need be. I took this last night.

On the bright side, I understand that Prince Charles will be spending a year with the homeless at his mothers pleasure. He is to be sharing a cell with an old school chum. In some speech or other he was giving the other day, he said he "wanted to do his bit". He has spent the last few weeks in a "Practice" prison at the Rolls Royce factory and is looking forward to his stint.

I understand, in breaking news, the government are considering extending the "Clamping" to include imigrants, anyone who looks a bit "funny", people with goatee beards and anyone short and dumpy with the bad ears called "Susan". Medium Susans are ok.

I have to own up, it was a complete lie, a fabrication for my own enjoyment. I must say I found most of the replies hillarious while other bought up some very valid points. I do feel there is a huge problem with so called "Homeless" on the streets of Brighton, these poor folk are usually addicted to whichever substance they can cheaply obtain. There go us all really but for the grace of whichever you personally believe in. There are not too many steps to take to go down the same road, life is a fragile balance to me. I do sometimes feel I have to "Run the gauntlet" of "spare change" people as I am asked at least a dozen times a day.

I do also feel I left enough clues as to this being a wind up from the beginning. I mean come on, who the hell is going to clamp a human being? Its taken from "The Day Today". I ended my statement by saying the words "these days today" and my signature include headlines from the show.

This very evening, on my door step, were two police officers and a homeless man and woman. They were completly blocking my doorway while the police searched the man. Nothing to do with my house at all. The man was quite obviously off his proverbial nut and was apologising to everyone. All his belongings were strewn across my door steps. I had to ask them to move just so I could get in my own front door. I am drawing no conclusions from these events. I often have to fight my way past drunks hunched up drinking in my doorway. Its just around a corner off a main road and sheltered. I find this quite annoying when I have struggled back with bags of shopping or my ex drops off the kids.

To those who may have thought I should be in the SS, well people who know me personally would vouch for my open mind and I bear no malace to anyone, well almost. My personal view on humanity is we are all exactly the same and should not be prejudged. Judge by actions I feel is correct. I apologise if I offended anyone, but I have really been enjoying this thread.

And now the weather with Sylvester Stuart. The day will start gloomy in the south, a bit like waking up next to a corpse. Rain later, with drops the size of a wrestler. Fortunatly most of these will not quite reach the ground. On to the north east, a strong and highly long lasting day there, some heavy thunder storms, about as loud as a woman. Hail later, aimed vertically down from above and there will be a 30% chance.
