Clarkson's Farm

Explain?

Footfall a bad thing for local businesses?

First time I have ever heard that.
1) That isn't the claim. No-one mentioned local businesses.

2) Why are you asking me to explain? My statement is I didn't see an episode about local fanbois decimating a village, which was said to be included in the show by someone else. I think my statement is pretty simple?

**EDIT** Also, aren't the local businesses farmers? Didn't we hear all through that they were having a really tough time...? I guess footfall is not a good thing for them? There you go, maybe this is the first time you've heard it?!

I'm talking about the decimating the local village claim.

Explain.

Is it just the extra Footfall or are they heading into the village and doing burnouts, harassing the locals or standing on street corners?

Oh, you want @n30_mkii for that. It was his claim. It was then stated to have been in the show, I said I'd not seen it.

The queues on the roads and massive interest in the shop and farm was mentioned several times in the show. I was talking about the claims that the shop was selling merchandise 'secretly' when it was openly covered in the show multiple times.

I feel for the farmers who are struggling and how Clarkson’s business would have helped them keep going. I despise my local council, and it appears others aren’t much better.

Same everywhere i think, my parents worked very hard all their life to build their modest dream home of their own only to have locals and council make it as hard as they possibly could, forcing very long delays, changes in plans and a great deal of extra expense.

I felt like confronting some of them but it would only cause more trouble, i can see how serious altercations happen from this sort of thing, it makes you incredibly angry when people are objecting to plans with such petty complains as your roof being slightly higher than their roof lol.

Fair enough. That's tough to get to from 'all of that was covered' is all :)

That is a good example of why they would be sterner with him though. It's a fairly simple rule, which also kind of makes sense tbh, which he kind of ignores by 'finding a way around it'.

Vinnie Jones farm renovation

Vinnie Jones creating TV show like Clarkson’s Farm in which he'll document his life in the south of England.

I like Vinnie but i can't imagine it will be as funny as Clarkson’s Farm.

Will be watching this a bit closer next season as we've dropped off a load of radios for them..
