Clarkson's Farm

If you gm the didly squat farm shop and use sat view. Notice the triangle of the area with the two diagonal roads and imagine a third bottom road to make a triangle. Next the centre of it, kinda eye shaped with the caravans site road/path, now imagine that is a eye but just missing its pupil. Hmm kinda looks like the illuminati triangle with eye pictures doesnt it. Coincidence?

The more I think about it the more I realize it can only really be a one off. The hook of whether or not the farm will be financially successful has vanished. It's established now. Unless the next season is about trying to keep up with demand I can't see what the point in making more would be.

I think that's true if they stay the course, if they verify the projects and get into some other aspects of farming it could work but yeah I understand where you are coming from.

The funny part of him learning a new skill on the farm is gone, I know he can grow a lot more other things from strawberries to tomatoes but those are done in much smaller amount of land and a lot more labour intensive vs machinery.

Perhaps he could get cows but dairy farming is not really an offshoot of "i want that grass gone".

I hope there is enough material for another but not sure how it would fill an entire series again.

I think there is still good scope for a 2nd series, but not sure how much more it could sustain beyond that before getting too repetitive. I saw on the socials the other day they posted some pigs running around so as they had done a lot of work with Sheep in series 1, there is probably legs in having a similar set of segments for farming Pigs and the various challenges that brings.

Would be also good to revisit some of the work that was done in Series 1 to see it now established, has it worked as intended etc. Putting some lessons learnt in series 1 into practice.

I think there would also be further scope for discussion of using farmland for energy production, perhaps charging an EV etc?

From reviews (except guardian...) and general reception in forums i can't see Amazon just letting series 1 being the end of it as has received broadly positive acclaim.

To be honest, I think the series has served a purpose for JC.

Have lots of cash, don't want to pay IHT, buy a big farm in the Cotswalds, film yourself farming said farm so if anything happens to you and your estate claims agricultural property relief, HMRC aren't in the best position to challenge you.

Very canny :)

Couple of episodes left to watch, i've thoroughly enjoyed this. A lot of natural laugh out loud moments and he's got good back and forth with Caleb (sp?)

I would have liked to have seen a bit more mentioned around the issue with the decline with insects, not preachy levels, just a little more time on it. It was almost a blink and miss it comment, as he's said, it's a potentially bigger issue than climate change or micro plastics, insects die in big enough numbers, life really does end.

Think I'd rather **** in my hands and clap :)

Glad others are enjoying it though, just can't stand Clarksons faux outrage. He and Piers Morgan are peas in a pod, which is probably why they can't stand each other

It's funny isn't it, I think that a lot of the people that hate Clarkson don't realise that they actually hate his camera personality. The bloke is probably an alright chap, I certainly got that impression when I watched Top Gear being filmed, and I think this show goes to prove that somewhat. An airhead yes, but a very principled person who can get on with just about anyone, is happy to have the mick taken out of him, is happy to be proven wrong, and isn't afraid to try new things. They're really good personality traits.

It definitely makes a point of trying to tame Clarkson's nonsense, most likely through heavy editing. I've always really liked his personality but his opinions get in the way and I'm glad they decided to focus more on the former here. He can be quite endearing when he wants to be.

Pretty much what @bloodiedathame said :)
