Cleopatra

Americans are thick enough to believe she was black.

That’s the whole point in the documentary.

No point of having page after page of arguments.
Americans, and sadly an increasing number of non-Americans, are thick enough to believe whatever they see on TV or Social Media. The improvements in AI created images and photoshop etc is only going to worsen this further in times to come.

Something historical should be as accurate as possible (and completely ignoring the actress choice debate, many of the events in the show are historically incorrect , with some events being associated with completely the wrong Roman for example), and this show fails on that. It has no more place being labelled as a documentary than Quantum Leap does.

I've been moaning about this for many years - Hollywood has a lot to answer for in the misinformation game. Even with fiction, they should be as accurate as is possible. They get so many things wrong it's just unbelievable, and there really is no need for it.
I was watching Fubar last night, that one show alone, the number of science mistakes was insane. The mistakes were fundamental to the entire story, but even so, I'm sure the story could have been re-imagined and got right.
Anyway, back to the point, not everyone is knowledgeable or wary enough to know they are being fed rubbish. YouTube's creators are taking advantage of that for views. All in all, the USA has no one else to blame but itself for widespread misinformation and rising division.
