Just wow!

What a thread, your attitude totally stinks! It has all been covered by other posts, but had to pick up on this again "Shot 10 weddings" ?!

We have 50 this year and top of our list is keeping clients happy!

Good for you ! I only started 12 months ago so I'd say for someone who is new to photographing weddings that is pretty dam good.



I do keep my clients happy and in fact most of the weddings I am booked up for next year come from being recommended from clients and my work posted on my fan pages

If you think clicking on a link someone else posted is smart... I worry for your future.

At the end of the day you got caught out, trying to come across like you're amazing and then we see you asking for help for what is a pretty basic skill for a wedding photographer.. If you're charging £700 a pop (or more) do you not think you should know how to use a flash? People pay wedding photographers rather large amounts of money because they are paying for quality/experience, something it looks like you're clearly lacking.


A pretty basic skill if you use it yes ! Where does it say to become a photographer you need to learn FLASH ? No such thing. I like natural light and I have my own style and way of doing things , My clients love my work and I do the things they like, Doesn't matter what I charge , I value my photography & Editing skills at what ever price I want - nothing too do with you !

How can I tell you anything when you already know it all??

Let me tell you something JANESY - You never stop learning at becoming a better photographer , I am by no means an expert - In fact I have learnt everything I know from other people on YouTube and by experimenting myself and spending hours and hours mastering light room and Photoshop.

Personally, I am more concerned with the use of "There" in the thread title.

English wasn't my strong point at school I spent most of my time in the Graphics and Art room

I'm not missing any point ! I made a mistake and I corrected it - But still I do not like the way he spoke too me. that's my view and nothing is going to change that. each to there own hey

You like natural light and you're a wedding photographer, so yeah that must cover about half of your shots? Don't suppose you need to be good at getting shots indoors at night?

Its tricky hence why I am investing in a new flash and hence why I asked for advice. currently I just bump at the ISO when its dark.



Try posting some photos then, with people's consent of course
If people were nice and not insulting I may just have done that but this is not the place to get constructive feed back! I'll stick too places where people don't insult people when asking a photography question.



A youtube wedding photographer and now a master of lightroom, in a year, good going.

I've taken on board and put in place what was advised . I Apologised & got the client a free print !

Just because I said I didn't like the clients message to me and said ** Fully star out any swearing ** a few people went mental and started insulting me because of my view. I still stand by that, No one should be spoken to like that after photographing your wedding day ! I made a mistake and I hold my hands up . most of the comments after that where un-called for. & people advising others on this forum not to hire me and so on because of my view, its bang out of order.

Stop being so sarcastic when it is inappropriate.

It is nothing about spelling, it is nothing about your english, it is about the attitude.

I have an attitude because I didn't like a customer calling me a B***** Ya right that makes sense.
