Clocks go forward tonight

Last year I was on night shift so got paid same for one hour less work.

This year no such luck - at work now, so had 1 hour less sleep

I was paranoid about the clocks going forward as I was due back from annual leave Sunday morning, which meant leave the house at 6am ( or 5am effectively ) I had multiple alarms, as well as plain timers set that wouldn't matter about the actual hour on the clock, just how many hours from going to bed till I actually needed to get up. Ended up having a rubbish nights sleep as I was clock watching.

Can you imagine my joy on getting into work to be met by the gaffer, looking at me oddly and saying " system doesn't have you back in till tomorrow! "

Turns out I hadn't put the annual leave times in correctly in my phone - I had sworn I had checked it though. AAARRRGGGHHH.

So not only went back to work a day early ... but also had to suffer the -1hr of sleep too !!!

Looks like a cake fine for me tomorrow then !

I'm always furious at the clocks changing... at least it wasnt mid week though.
