On the way home from footie, was leaving my mate home. Down a country road doing 30mph knowing that there were tractors and such on the road.
Predictably I meet one just round a corner and pull into a driveway when one of the tyres of the tractor blows and he starts to veer off to the right. He was going much faster than he should have been and was headed straight for me head on so it was a bit of a squeaky bum moment. Luckily he gained some control of it and just missed me by a few inches of my wing mirror, pulling in 200 yards down the road where he was heading.
On the way back, you can see the marks on the road from the bare wheel.
So yeah, that was a nice little drive just over a year from passing my test.
I have to say, tractors and lorries on back roads **** me off more than a cyclist or motorcyclist ever could.
