I agree. While I'm really happy for Hoy and the like, seeing people like Adams and Jones winning gold in two sports we never really knew we'd do well in was a much better watch in my opinion.
 
Really looking forward to the closing ceremony, it's been a fantastic couple of weeks. Might have get a few tins in to get in for it.

Shame the weather is turning now as i've missed a lot of the decent sunshine due to the games. Every time i had some free time i'd get hooked on some random sport lol.

Yeah same, haven't seen anything else. Watched a couple of DVD's I guess, would be interesting to see a round-up of the effect the games has had on channels like ITV!
 
Been brilliant in a nutshell...i haven't enjoyed my journey thru Stratford station as it's been chaotic so am glad it's almost over now.

GB have done really well in these Olympics...will be interesting to see if we emulate our same medal tally or even surpass it in 4 yrs time...i think the home support has been amazing, a few of our medals have come purely thru home support imho ie taekwondo and judo for instance are 2 that come to mind.

But really what an amazing Olympics...BBC have done a sterling job of covering it. Absolutely amazing.
 
Its been amazing, great performance by all of Team GB, I really dont know what im gonna watch, the start of the football feels meh in comparison, after this it just shows that footballers are not true athletes
 
That video compilation at the end of the BBC coverage with Imagine playing in the background brought a wee tear :o
 
Will feel weird not to go onto the BBC sports site and see what is on to watch live :( Shame its over, obviously can't go on forever though!

Its been amazing, probably the best olympics i have ever seen in my life and i am gutted i never got tickets to see it as i live 20mins away from the stadium.

i should have tried harder to get tickets years ago but diddnt as i thought it would be a fail of massive order but the moment the opening ceremony kicked in, I knew this was going to be something spectacular.

What a cracking 2 weeks it has been and again, gutted i did not get any tickets.
