...is anyone seeing the strange brown/sepia coloured clouds?

I've never ever seen clouds go that colour before, sun doesn't seem to be doing anything unusual :/

They've moved on a bit now, but here they looked like seeks photos but a touch more brown coloured

Erm, look like sunset to me? Surely the sun is behind the cloud imo.

all three photo's are taken from three different directions.

1 - west
2 - south
3 - east

Regardless of where it is taken, i would think the sky would give such colour if the sun is buried within or behind the clouds. :)

EDIT
Or areyou tryin to say "they have landed" or the "invasion is baout to begin"?....**puts on tin hat**

Well the sun wasn't behind any clouds here, i've no doubt it was the sun causing it but it was the weirdest colour ive ever seen a cloud go. It wasn't the usual reddy/orange you can get it was a real dirty brown colour :/

It sounds weird but he's right, I was in Portsmouth at about 17:45 and the clouds were definitley brown, made me wish I had my camera on me. :)

nope, i definatly witnessed them aswell, was closely followed by the biggest hail i have ever seen. I know they were nothing compared to the golf ball sized ones in america, but these things were bigger than marbles.

Its because i have gone home and the weather is reflecting Southampton's mood.. pathetic fallacy!
