I disagree as there are plenty of other choices.
Drinks like pop should always be treated as a 'treat'. Not a staple.
I was brought up with choices. When I deserved a treat, my mum gave me choices and I get to choose, even then, cola was never more than a small can. People needs to understand what's staple and what's a treat. That's something parents needs to teach, not society and government banning this, restricting that.
If people start banging on about Coke and high sugar, next they'll be a mob going on about how much sugar some people put in their baked cookies, then followed by how many teaspoon of sugar some people put in their tea!
