Goliath, Joo know's it! And I know you show a lot of love for that left-hander that drops towards the ice-bridge which has the bump just before you turn in. A proper 'why hello there' corner! :)

Hooya, that's a bravery test and nothing else :D

Why don't I know any of the landmarks (bar 172 corner :()?

Ice bridge I assume is the dam thing right over on the wrong side of the hills towards the 2nd pub? Don't remember the bump but I do remember adverse camber on the way down after it.

There's a few bumps to be avoided on the roman road right up at the top too :o

Trojan, Nudging £100 for allignment check/tweak & all wheels ballanced, what rubber are you running on the front & what's the wear pattern like?

I've got F1 GSD 3s on the front (PE2s on the rear) and the wear seems is pretty even from memory. The car does pull to the left slightly however, and this coupled with fact that I'm getting more understeer than I used to makes me think I need a full check/allignment.

£100 doesn't sound bad to get the handling back on form, think I'll have to drop Yoz or Fred a mail and sort something out. They're down Staffordshire way aren't they?

I got all excited when you send Brembo discs but looking at those they appear to be the boggo standard OEM spec replacement Brembo's not the nice Brembo MAX ones :(

They'll be the Brembo high carbon discs, might well be OE replacement but they are pretty decent.

It needs a bigger cake :)

Lookin good - Coco, did you go to the last Renault Sport Trackday at Oulton Park? It was about a month or so ago.

Tesla, for the 172Cup they use thinner carpetting & window glass, chucking in a floor-mat off the production line would be sacrilege!

While this thread has been pulled back to tht top, the mats i bought for the Clio 172 Cup that i used to own were the official renault items, two front mats and a single mat that goes over the tunnel for the back seats, they fitted nicely, but at £150 they were rather expensive!

I forget, did u have the LCR at the last meet? Also will you be giving passenger rides ;)

Nope I didn't I still had the fastest VTR on the planet :p

And I guess I could be tempted into giving some shotgun rides! :D

I love those cars - stunning looking example you have there  I'm just waiting for the cups and later full fats to depreciate a little more, then hopefully i'll bag one for myself. Keep telling myself I can live without air con...
