COD 4 GOTY edition PS3 ??

Hello,

Well yesterday i purchased my first PS3 Slim along with Call Of Duty 4 Game of the Year Edition

Brand New from a high street store for £249.99

I am a little worried that I have not got the correct version of COD 4.

The games case says COD 4 GOTY Edition, but the game disk itself says nothing about GOTY edition ???

I no you are surposed to the 4 new maps in the GOTY edition and carn't see them in my map list

Broadcast
Killhouse
Creek
China Town

Can anyone out there with the PS3 version of COD 4 GOTY edition clear things up for me ? have i just got the normal version ??

The GOTY editions no longer contain the map packs. Crazy isnt it?

The disk is also standard.

In exactly the same boat. I purchased the GOTY on Friday, no maps.....

I was planning on returning it today, but if I am not able to pick up the version with the maps included there seems like little point.

You can no longer get the maps unless its old stock with the sticker

I'm glad I bought my GOTY version earlier this year then, had the voucher inside with the code to redeem on PSN for the extra maps.

Yeah I bought one around april that had it + sticker. The last copy I bought was around a month back which didnt have the code

Oh great !

So i looks like i have the right version of game then

should it still say GOTY edition on the game disk though ??

Should i try returning it ? there system said no copies left but they found one on the shelf then took 15mins trying to find the game disk and manual in the back of the store.

How much are the maps on the play station store ?

The disk doesnt currently have GOTY printed on it. You got the right version....taking it back and swapping it will only get you the same i'm afraid.

Once you do have a friend that owns the map pack ask him/her to sign into their psn account on your ps3. When they have done that they will be able to view all their purchases from playstation store. They can then download the map pack onto your ps3 hdd from there but beware, there is a limit of how many times your friend can download on other peoples consoles. I believe the limit is 4 other ps3s. Hope this helps.
