I havn't been following MW2 and honestly thought It was called CoD4:MW2 since it follows on from CoD4:MW...

However, I mistakenly thought you were intentionally being snarky by 'prentending' not to have heard of COD6, but had heard of MW2 when they're obviously the same game. I apologise for my return snarkiness

In any case it's difficult to argue as half the titles aren't even made by the same developer!

COD3- made by Treyarch
COD4- Not made by Treyarch!

This is where it goes wrong in my eyes... COD:MW2 isn't COD6, or they would have called it that.
Just like COD:WAW isn't COD5.
But we can all beg to differ on that.

The Big Red One was consoles only and looking at their own numbering, doesn't count, probably because of that reason.

Could barely tolerate MW's single player (the chopper's roter blowing up from shooting the driver, some form of story line and others) and the multi player is just really quite boring.
CoD:WaW Single player was executed quite well, but veteran is a tad annoying (same with MW) online medicore but I prefer it over MW due to the feel, colour and sounds.
MW2 - looks like MW but with new perks and game modes.
Each to their own I suppose.
