COD: Black Ops III

I still can't believe they're releasing the modding and mapping tools, and allowing people to mod CoD. Finally!

i think its so they ca get ideas from modders for the next cod. this has happened a few times during cods history popular mods becoming later parts of the main game.

killstreaks originally came from a modders idea which he got nothing lol.zombies was a mod lol.

so yes give em tools so we can make some billions later :p

I have it preloaded with a key from CJS... I'm assuming there's no way to trick Steam to thinking it's tomorrow?

Encrypted download if my understanding is correct (Though I guess its only part encryption?). They have to send out the encryption key on release.

I would be astonished if this was worth the money. I'm afraid it will all feel depressingly familiar. Again. And again . . . and again . . . forever...

I'm not complaining for £25, 47gb worth of data, zombie campaign, zombie seperate mode, the multitude of multiplayer modes, co-op campaign, mod and dev support coming as well... well worth it imo.

I still play WaW because of the mods on Zombies, and look how long ago that was released :)

Nukedown DLC offers only the map or does it have anything else? It is worth it?

There is a season pass for the years DLCs but I can't find it anywhere but Steam which is at a ridiculous price. Would think its cheaper to get them through the year from stores like CDKeys.

I've been away from CoD for a while(original Black Ops the last one I bought), so I'm expecting it to feel fairly fresh again. Looks like a lot has changed, this game in particular seems to pack a ton of content, is promising longevity with mods(and rumored 2 years of DLC) and I have to say - is very pretty. It honestly has some fantastic graphics, which is impressive for a game that runs at 60fps on consoles.

bought from CDKeys and downloading now :) Might use VPN to unlock early and play some tonight, anyone have any experience doing this method? I haven't played since BO1 after I heard bad things about mw3/ghosts/aw. Maybe we should set up a Steam group if there isn't one already for zombies and the like? Worried that the COD community on PC isn't going to be too great, so would be nice to know a handful of people to play with :)

The community is fairly toxic, though part of the attraction is arguing with German teenagers :D. I still play Black Ops 2 every day and the servers are always full in TDM. Add me if you want to get something going.

After playing about 3 hours tops of AW and promising I would never buy another CoD again (much like I did with AW in the first place), I bought it from cdkeys.

Won't be able to play it for 2 days thanks to my wonderful rural suffolk location and it's amazing 2.5mb BB speeds. I look forward to reading about it here until then!

CJS Keys have the season pass.

So they do. Only £1 cheaper then Steam though. Question is how much will the four packs be...

How/why will the VPN work? I thought it was globally released at the same time?
