COD : WaW Beta

i was paired with the nicest people yesterday, no shouting, no 'WHAT THE HELL'!!. may of been the fact that a lady was among us. sadly they left and i was stuck with a bunch of immature 10 year olds.

Saw this on the marketplace last night and thought I'd give it a shot, really was expecting to play it for 10 minutes then delete. Started and was instantly hooked even though my first shot at team death match was a disaster. Had a mate round who plays COD:4 a lot and watched him for a couple of rounds to get a rough idea how to actually get some kills then we swapped from team deathmatch to war and that was the rest of the night gone :D

Definate purchase for me now :cool:
 
I heard people saying it was similar to COD4 but didn't quite realise how similar it is. Its practically the same game with new maps and skins!

I suppose thats not necessarily a bad thing.
 
Arrrgh had a real hard job getting a good game on this now they have opened it up to the public (although it was great listening to new players as they come across my Bouncing Betty's and Double-Barrel Shotgun lol).

And I can't believe the US get this on the 11th and we don't until the 14th :confused: so by the time UK players get it most of the yanks are gonna be around level 30 :( This should have been a world wide release!

Anyhoo, does anyone know the answer to this: i noticed you can earn XP in the single player campaign, does this increase your multi-player rank as well?
 
Ooooo just watched the "Bonus Mode" video, Zombies *** :D

(PS what are peoples feelings on the Flame Thrower being a perk instead of a weapon? i'm undecided, probably think it should have been a weapon)

I think last night during a loading screen that you can only increase your rank in Xbox Live matches.

Anyway those yanks need a head start ;)

Only had a couple of annoyances last night. Some american kid who sounded 8 constantly repeating "what the mother ****" endlessly and some english kid who when a map came on that he didn't like just repeated the word "why?" over and over, these were soon muted though and normal service resumed :p
 
thats one thing i dont like about multiplayer gaming on xbox wny cant they be region enabled or at least be abled by the end user, its bloody annoying hearing an 8 year old american screaming racist garbage down the mic :mad:stfu you stupid brat
 
I have been playing this all evening and its really good fun. A definite purchase for me.

Again the one thing that annoys me about Xbox Live is the number of kids shouting down the mic drives me nuts.
 
Although it is annoying it is quite funny at times. Yesterday there was a Liverpudlian kid in our game, must've been 10 or thereabouts (squeaky voice). He kept going on and on about some random rubbish to this other player, they were probably friends. When the other guy left he said "Don't goOoHH". You know the way when you want your mum to buy something for you and she's not having it.."mum pleaseeee let me have iiiit" :D

There was actually a child having a full on argument with what must have been his dad on COD yesterday regarding dinner.
