You'll have to remind us all when the bolt action was for anything other than long range shots :p

I think people want the call games to play how a game should, whereas I think they shoot mirror the characteristics of the weapons in military world.
 
Every play CoD1/uo/2? Rifles were actually useful in those games. I read somewhere it takes two rifle bullets to kill but with the 'scope' attached its one shot.

Seems silly tbh.

Ofc the sniper does :p

Hardcore really is too easy, many times i've ran around with a Deagle and topped the scoreboard :(

It's just TOO easy, normal mode is just too OTT on the amount of bullets you can take aswell, promod gave a nice compromise :)

No it's with the sniper SMG ;)

Of course its a sniper RIFLE.

Wow you sound amazing.

First you say you cant shoot accurately with a pad, next you sniping with a Deagle.

I guarentee that oneshot will beat you deagle skills ;)
 
For the record, i play PC :p

So hardcore is pish.

This is a CoD5 thread, not a CoD4 thread so lets keep it on track!

It looks like a great game, i just hope there's a decent amount of recoil ^_^
 
i was using the springfield with sniper scope and that was pretty good,but its so easy to get a uav ,so i end up getting somone finding me and killing me,i think the game is pretty pants,the granades have no power to them,the gas is just a waste of time and the molatov is pointless aswell.
 
Other than the draganov and M21. Yes, head/neck/torso.

Draganov and M21 need head and the draganov with stopping power doesnt make any difference such are the damage multipliers..

as for abusive yanks, I don't think the beta is that bad AT THE MOMENT, I certainly knew the difference when I went back to 4 for a few games of S&D last night!

Still, the Locale only search mode in WaW should help with that if implemented correctly.

Normal mode, ak47 with stopping power enabled. Shoot someone in the head without shooting them anywhere else and it will not kill them.

It's pretty **** the way it works, if you shoot them in the leg and THEN shoot the head you get the headshot.
 
Onshot im liking your thinking, but most your issues will be address by the hardcore version I imagine. Grenades really should be brutal.

Yeah?

I normally find its a finishing shot that hits them in the head to get the headshot but its never the first.

That said If i sneak up and shoot once with the MP5 or something I end up stuffing a few more rounds into their head and get a normal kill not headshot so im not sure how much latency effects where Im really hitting on their bodies.

The locale search doesn't seem to be working correctly, or it might be due to the low number of people in the beta at the time.
