COD : WaW Beta

Hi there,

Didn't realise these were available for us UK users :(

No code generating sites providing codes at the moment?

If any of you guys have a code spare, i'd be grateful!;)

I got mine yesterday after applying the day before.

Played a game there, great fun, i never really played much COD4 online, but seems similar.
 
Glad I got the Beta, seems awful.

Still stupid guns, ie, light machine guns with high range on them and ultra high accuracy and damage, none of them seem to carry any difference in weight etc etc.

All of them are still unfit as they can only run for about 5 steps before they need a rest.

Artillary is a waste of time as its so slow, the dogs thing gets boring after a few times.

Whats the point of the tanks?, they are destroyed quickly and you have no range on that map to use them in (ie good if we had a massive space and be able to reign shells in from a distance, but it doesnt matter as the shells have the impact of a small granade)

Ill get it for the solo campaign and hope that some new stuff is brought out for COD4 maps playlists etc etc.

Man someone hates this game fo' suuure!

For me the guns are totally different, and I can get kills with artillery efficiently enough. Im also able to roam around in tank for ages raking in the kills, you know it takes roughly 4 rockets and 2 sticky grenades to take one down - its not an easy thing to do. I think the games really well balanced so far :)
 
zombie thing looks great, Like horde mode in GoW2? like the idea of the money thing as well, quality!

Sweet that the beta is now up to 44. I like playing the game but for me ( as with cod4 ) its all about lvling up and completing the challenges. Once ive done that i dont really play it any more

I dont see the point of playing it now. You may as well wait for the release because the levels will be reset anyway. Also the weapons are poorly balanced and I'm hoping they sort that out for the full release. I'd rather play it when they have fixed the little niggles.

see your point about the levels but i dont have anything else to play. Dont want to get fable because i have to much to do. This i can pick up, have a couple of rounds, then put it down. As to weapon balancing which are you referring to ?
