Well i caved in and bought this, for £26 pre-owned whcih i'm quite chuffed with :)

I don't want to make the same mistake I made with Halo 3 - play it through on Normal first and realize it wasn't any fun as it was so easy. So, should I play CoD4 on veteran first?
 
Veteran is really hard. I would go as far to say I didn't enjoy sections of the game due to the difficulty etc. I have since played it through on the easier levels and found it far more enjoyable. Although I did have a good feeling of accomplishment when I finished it, especially the epilogue.
 
I'm not sure the difference between hardened and veteran but hardened was pretty easy I thought, I only had trouble with one level (ferris wheel) which was stupidly hard. I kinda wish I played it through on veteran.
 
Well, I did the training thing at the beginning, and passed it to a standard of "casual" so that's what I'm playing it on.

My god I suck at this though, when there's loads of people attacking me at once, I just DIE. haha. Practise Practise though. :D
 
I always play on the hardest setting, that way you really get your money's worth and rage attacks on objects in my room. With COD4 i found theres only some bits I would ever die at, and not particularly those at the end u'd expect to be most challenging. Isnt as hard as people make out, if you arent rubbish, do it.
 
How hard compared to COD2 on vet - as apart from 2 bits that destroyed part of my sanity, I found that a fairly good balance if I took my time.
 
Balls to it, I'm hardcore. I'm going vet ;)

If this is as good as everyone is saying I wanna savor each moment.

You'll live to regret going vet!

I completed COD2 on the pc AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGES ago, and started doing it again on the 360 recently. But...this time...on..........................VETERAN!!!!!

God, its the most unbelievable , gayest, unfairest, bit of gaming ive ever had to endure!!

Tell you what though, when ya complete it on veteran, you will most likely be nursing a semi for at least an hour due to the major accomplishment. Thats what happened to me anyways - shown me mum and everything :D

Completing the Epilogue on Veteran was definitely worth an achievement, it's rock hard but such a feeling of satisfaction.

...and don't call me Shirley :D
