COD7

Valve are truly the HEROES of the PC gaming market and long may that remain.

I would hardly call them heroes myself but thats another story.

The new COD game is made by Treyarch and I assume cannot use IWnet as thats owned by IW themselves. I think that Treyarch will stick with the dedicated servers route myself, they're more customer focused than the money grabbers at IW. That said, if Activision tell them that they cant do that then its a real shame as I enjoyed W@W and wont be purchasing any more PC Cod titles - whilst I enjoy playing the game, its the hopeless matchmaking that ruins it.

Yeah, it's almost certainly Activision calling the shots.

Treyarch will probably want to use dedi servers after all the commotion over MW2 just to score some cheap loyalty points from PC Gamers.

ATVI are the money grabbing scum - they've become almost the complete opposite of what they were even 5 years ago. Tho theres some blame at IW as well.

Treyarch don't make good games imo, they are too formulaic and artificial looking.

We haven't a decent vietnam game in a while though. So I would rather have one of those then another modern warfare shooter. ;)

Either way theyre last CoD effort was crap, no innovation, totally by the numbers. The only reason I played to the end was to make sure I got my moneys worth, honestly there was only one moment in the entire campaign that i found remotely entertaining and that was just an enemy trying to return a grenade which went off and took his arm with it.

I really dont like this system of proper CoD game followed by dilluted run of the mill CoD game that the two developers have cooked up. Nevermind the bloody dedi server mess, Id bought and for the most part loved every IW CoD game up until MW2 and I honestly cant imagine ever buying another.

BF:V with new engine/updated gfx would be sweeeeeeeeeeeeet

have played cod since 1st one on pc and MW2 is the only one I refused to buy full stop!

But as they proved with MW2, there are enough of these idiots on the pc to continue funding it, never mind the consoles, prepared to pay extremely high prices for a mediocre game.

I only bought it on the xbox because it was £24 at sainsburys when it was released, and I am pretty glad I did because even though its very frustrating with me or one of my friends being kicked from the lobby randomly its a fun game to keep going back to.
