So the weather's getting warmer which means my regular drink of water doesn't quite cut it when sitting in the sun in the evening.

What's worse for you? A can of coke zero, or a gin and zero calorie tonic? There's no alcohol, calories or sugar in coke, but there is caffeine and e-numbers and its a slightly bigger serving.

I only have one every other day or so, so I'm not concerned, just curious.

Bit of an odd dichotomy isn’t it? They’re very different drinks.

If you want non-alcoholic, there are loads of alternatives to Coke.

If you want E numbers- and caffeine-free, there are loads of alternatives.

There are even E-number, caffeine and alcohol- free drinks that aren’t water.

One is to relax and the other is not. I already consume too much caffeine so perhaps G&T is healthy in strict moderation. In the sun I prefer any drink borderline ice, like shockingly cold at least to start. On that basis Vodka in your freezer is unbeatable :p
If my recollection of House episodes is right, too much tonic can be bad also. Neither is perfect then, have a milkshake

Have you considered that you have deeper psychological issues if you need to consume alcohol when the sun comes out?
Even if it's 'every other day" for some bizarre reason you seem to think is socially acceptable?
Maybe consider talking to a chaplain or AA they can help you if you have strayed or fallen from the path. Asking for help isn't embarrassing. They are happy to help.
Water is the answer. Water mixed with chunks of frozen water. It will cut it.
The most natural choice for humanity.
Get help, find the lord and buy silicon ice trays.
