I usually get through a 2 litre bottle of Coke each day... maybe 2 days at a stretch.

Coke, its only the real thing as all other clones taste TERRIBLE (worrying that its noticeable to me)

Try not to drink more than a can or two any more though

We did a taste test back when I was in school.

There were 3 options:

• Coke
• Pepsi
• Generic own brand

We did this at school too. We did Coke, Sainsbury's classic cola, and Netto cola.

Sainbury's came out on top

Gotta be Coke. Never bothered buying anything else but the few times I have had Pepsi it was really sweet and not very nice.

To clarify, the idea is that your only going to be able to drink either coke or pepsi from then on, but not exclusively. You can still drink everything else under the sun, just not pepsi if you picked coke and vice versa.

I pick Coke personally. Its a tough choice, but it does have a nicer taste.

Ah, well in that case, it wouldn't make much difference to me at all, as I don't particularly like either. I only buy coke on rare occasions when I'm in a bar but can't drink alcohol, and I don't think I'd really care what replaced it.

In the USA you can get Pepsi Wild Cherry which is great.

The American version of cherry Coke tastes so much better than what we get (not that I don't like the UK version) - it has a stronger cherry flavour to it, this may or may not have changed as it was about 15 years ago when I had it.

Made me laugh... Personally I think marketing means nothing for this..

I've tried both and drink Coke more because it tastes nice unlike pepsi. The only sort of advertising I see for either is when I'm watching TV.. even then I never watch the adverts so.

well you would be wrong then

and what do you do when the adverts come one, turn the tv off?

i dont watch tv at all, theres only a few shows i like and i can catch them online. advertising clearly works otherwise coke wouldnt spend 99999999999 zillion on it every year for the past 30 years

Whatever happened to Tab clear? I remember trying it out in school in the early 90's. Was clear in colour but tasted like diet coke.

Coke over Pepsi for me - although the occasional cherry coke is quite nice

I seldom drink it, but if I had to choose, ice cold (so that ice forms on the bottle when you crack it open) on a hot summer's day - it would be a coke.


Also if you listen to most people that go to a bar/pub, they tend to ask for a <something> and coke rather than pepsi...
