Cold mouse hand

I was really confused by this thread. I thought you were saying your pet mouse has a cold hand, but then wondered what you were using the mouse for... And then it hit me.

But the answer is no, my mouse hand is not cold. The grips on the G602 are rubberised and don't ever feel cold.

I used to sit down at a desk pretty much all day either at my last job or when home at my PC.

Last year I made a concious effort to move around and change position more. Problem went away.

Biggest change was switching to a standing/sitting PC area at home with a worktop + desk setup next to one another. Giving me the choice of sitting or standing at the computer.

Takes a bit of getting used to. After awhile you find yourself alternating between the two naturally depending on what you're doing. Typing this reply standing up now :D

I have used fingerless gloves during winter in the past being a miser but now I use extra wide wrist/sweat bands on each hand or at work a long gel pad. Anything to get my wrists up off a cold or hard surface. I have a better posture in general as well.
 
I used to get slightly cold and tingly little finger and ring finger on my mouse hand. I started using an elbow rest as well as a wrist rest when using the mouse and it stopped. Certainly worth looking into before it becomes anything worse.
 
I am suffering this right now. I just use a little electric heater I'd bought for when it gets really cold in here. Just sit it on the desk and Roberts your dad's brother, warm hand.
