Cold roast potatoes, awesome or not?

I cannot get enough of them. I'll actually cook a sack of spuds so that I can have cold roast potatoes the day after. They're just so awesome, sprinkle some sea salt and eat it one mouthful - om nom nom nom nom!!

My grandma used to love them, but my mum says I'm not right in the head and one of my mates is convinced I've finally snapped having watched me eat a few. Surely I'm not alone in this??

Yeah it does actually. I spose it's just that my wife always heats up leftovers like rice and burgers.

I'll happily eat just about anything cold, my girlfriends house mate thinks I'm mental and should reheat everything!

Large ones tend to go dry and cloudy in the middle when cold so I couldn't eat them. Small ones I could eat like popcorn though.

All depends on breed of potatoe and how it's cooked.

If its oily and moist, fantastic.
If its dry and fluffy yuck.

Just roasting a sack of spuds now for cold eats, will try a bit of mustard later.

Still needs crunch, but yes. I will eat most foods cold. With cold gravy on as well.

I think cold roasts are horrible. They taste very 'powdery' to me, though I love cold pizza and will usually leave 2-3 slices for the next day so I can have it cold!
