jay z seems to be being used as an excuse here to hide wanting to see coldplay
And your problem being???...

...if that was aimed at me then after having been to the concert last night i will admit i actually enjoyed Coldplay a lot more than i thought i would have...im not their biggest fan although i do like some of their music but last night made me realise what an awesome band they are in live.
Anyhow have to say what an awesome concert that was...definitely the highlight for me last night was seeing Jay Z on stage doing all his major hits and definitely had the crowd bouncing to his music...the guy has a lot of energy...
Girls Aloud??..why oh why??...they were absolutely terrible imho...their performance was limp and frankly quite rubbish...dont even think the crowd was all that interested in them...they were the worst ones out of Jay Z, White Lies and ColdPlay.
Coldplay were pretty awesome i have to admit even though im no coldplay fan myself but they really had the crowd going and played their major hits with the crowd singing their heads off...was pretty surreal actually and i have to admit i actually enjoyed their performance. Again have to say Chris Martin has a lot of energy...there were times where he was running full pelt around the stage. They also did an awesome rendition of Micheal Jacksons Billie Jean...also Jay Z came out and did a duet with Chris...definitely had the crowd up and screaming...was quite funny that he went and just watched Chris play the piano then kinda tackle him to the ground...awesome stuff.
All in all was a great night i thought...we were in front of the stage...not that far from where they were playing but tell you this 5 hrs of standing is not good...my legs and feet were killing me

...Glad i went as i wasnt sure originally if i wanted to go but due to my gfs mate pulling out at the last minute i got invited instead....worked out pretty good i think.

was at the gig tonight. Have to be honest didn't really go for Coldplay. Wanted to see Jay-Z and Coldplay was an after thought. I like some of their songs but didn't see them as a stadium band. Thought their songs were a bit chilled/mellow for that kind of venue.
After the gig though I have to say my mind has been changed. Some fantastic sing alongs, crowd was well up for it and they put on a fantastic show. Lights, paper butterfly sprays into the crowd, loads of yellow bloons blown into the crowd etc. The band even moved to a small stage near the back of the venue so people up there could get a good view for a few songs.
My opinion of them totally changed tbh.
My exact thoughts as well...thought they were quite simply brilliant...did they do the mobile phone mexican wave??..they got the crowd that were seated to do...had to do it a few times as the upper tier couldnt time it right...was quite cool watching it from the middle of the pitch in Wembley.
