8800GTS, BFG model.

Have had 630:1010 on mine. That with the fan left to its won devices, will try it some time forcing the fan on max and giving it extra airflow by pointing a big fan at it.

97.92 drivers, XP Pro. Clocked with ATI Tool.

Could we possibly include a 3dmark before and after (% increase in correlation to the overclock)

Would be very useful to influence others to overclock and shows people it is worthwhile, as i haven't overclocked my 8800GTS yet, because I don't know if I will get any visable performance increase.

I went from about 8.5k to 10.5k with my GTS oc.

To be honest, it's a useful thing to have I guess but I can't remember my exact scores and I can't be bothered running 3dmarks again. I've had enough of stability testing ;)

That is an idea, but I fear it would overcomplicate the thread, as soon as you start posting 3dmarks people will want to know rest of system configurations, so you would have to add, cpu, ram, board, etc which would mean hours inputting data, lol I personally also think that while 3dmark is good, its not amazing as a measuring tool, I only saw a 300 or so point increase in 06 for my o/c, also people would have to clock down, run 3dmark, clock back run 3dmark so is time consuming

Like I said I think its an idea, but a seperate 3dmark with your 8800 thread would be better --- Unless LOTS of people vote it in to be added to this one ?

I wanted a clear cut thread purely to give people an idea of what sort of clocks they can expect with 8800 cards, something to aim for if someone gets one, but like I say if lots of you want to add system config details on and 3dmark details ill def do it if theres enough support, but wouldnt change or contribute o/c amounts achieved by the 8800 cards :)

EDIT: Updated

COMMENTS: Most achieved nice o/c so far, however some fairly random memory overclocks, those with little or no memory overclocks do they definitely fail over say 2000 ?
