Is that on a GPU Speed?

Normally indicates unstable clocks, bad card or just a WU that doesnt like you.

And I think its the error I get when I remote desktop into my rig as well.

Yeah an EVGA GTX260 SSC 192 Core 65nm, no higher clocks than stock and it was a simple swapout from one of the previous 216 core cards. As for remoting in I had that problem when I first started folding, but now I'm using Radmin it has been fine.

Looking at the frame times I'd say yes, maybe the dodgy GTX260? Just means unstable WU or card clocked too high.

It is strange as it was up to just below the frame time of the old GTX260s the 216 core ones but it has now dropped to below half!

Different WU's do different things to different cards. Also are you doing anything on the cpu compared to the old setup?

Nope, still running BigAdv at 4GHz. Only change has been the cards, reinstall of the same drivers and then the change to Stomp_Monster. It has just completed a WU but the PPD is still low at 3,960.9 on a P5767 (R4, C169, G50). Guess it could be the WUs.

Doh ok, am away to Scotland tommorrow morning and back New Years eve have managed to get a few friends doing seti for me so that will keep me going there.
Given that the rig has a habbit of blue screening on occasion is there a way i can get it to start automatically upon login? I will remove loging details etc and if it restarts at least it will start folding again as i wont be around to monitor it.
Would appreciate any advice on that one i only have till 6am in the morning to get that sorted but yeah will leave it folding.

N.B. If i come back to a pile of ashes i may well throw a fit

I love my seti but this is quite fun and its going to be a lot of ups and downs untill i have everything sorted so i guess another week won't make any difference.
Makes mental note to top up the electric before i leave

That is full populated, all 4 processors ( 48 [email protected]) and 32gb of quad channel ram goodness.

If you have net access where you are going you could always remote into it if you set it up. Just monitor it with HFM webpage or something.

You pay for your electric with a meter? Isn't that the most expensive way of doing it?
