Comfortable Bucket Seats

Do you really need a 5/6 point harness?

Just go for a 4 point, you can use the rear seatbelt fixings in the back. If your existing seat belts mount to the floor then you can use those anchor points in the front.

If not then you'll have to get some load spreading plates fitted to take the fixings at the front

I'd prefer a harness that matches the seat/same manufacturer and if I'm going for 4 point then I'd like ASM.

I'll definitely be getting a cage at some point early next year though so may as well go for 5/6 points.

Unless you're required by regulations to have a 5/6 point then I'd stick with a 4 point for a road car

I had 4 points in my Silvia (which was all that was required by the regulations) and even that could be a pain for daily driving. I used to have to unclip it to lean forwards to see out of junctions etc. so bear that in mind

Obviously if you're set on the 5/6 point then go for it but you'll need some plates fitted to the floor for sure, with a 4 point you might not depending on your current seatbelt fixings

Thanks, will take it onboard and have a think :)
