Yeh, i think the novelty is that subscribers get to play it the second it is activated, whereas the people who arn't subscribers have to wait a bit longer

Well i already had a FP subscription, so it doesn't really annoy me, because as you said, i already have the file downloaded before its even released.

But if FP keep on doing this sort of thing, im gonna be a ****** off bunny.
 
Nothing is ever straight forward nowadays is it, bring back the time where they uploaded the file and you just played it once you downloaded it, heh
 
FP have never said they had this for early release or as an exclusive, so whats the big deal,

They had the Supcom beta key avail to subs early on and looks like stalker soon too,

All they ever said about C&C is that it would be a pre load, nothing else !

tbh, the way we used to download demos etc, just isn't possible anymore, far too many people want to download large titles, like C&C3 for example. If FP just released the demo with no subscription needed, just a straight forward link where anyone could download, the servers would blow up.
 
They did say it wouldn't be BEFORE 10am PST which means all they were saying was it could be anytime after 6pm. Be patient, one evenings not gonna kill ya!
