My mate just tried the demo on a xp1700+ with a Geforce 5900, latest drivers, plays fine @ 1024x768 with medium settings and some settings low, looks pretty good and runs very well and smooth.....I was pretty impressed how well this ran....!

running at 1920x1200 at medium or low detail level, cant remember which. seems to run fine until a nuke hits, then it just cripples my system and its slideshow-o-rama until the nuke effects stop!

also seems to run okay on my ibm t60 laptop too:
core duo 2ghz
2gb ddr2
ati x1400 mobility (catalyst 7.2 drivers)

i think i tried that at 1280x1024, havent tried it with the new monitor/res yet.

gotcha... for $2000, the war factory is a bargain, just for healing alone.

Having unit's made is the field is cool tho.

Also, while i'm in question asking mode, is there anyway to make the obelisks of light attack different targets? they often hit the same enemy at the same time, even if it's just infantry.

You can manually aim... at the pace C&C runs this should be no issue.

Right had another go at brutal and won ;d My problem was i was thinking too much about the long game, just **** your initial tiberium deposit and 1 other and spew out units to your base perimeters, the trick is don't let money sit in yer bank have it constantly streaming out into units or buildings.

Also not that I ever do but if you garrison the structures a lot don't waste yer time, brutal will just flame thrower you out. Imo garrisoning the middle is pointless except against a real noobs anyway.

I meant the actual unit called Rig that you can build. Same price as a war factory but you can't always stick a war factory up on the frontline.

Awesome game! I can't wait for this to come out. I love the fast build times, allows for awesome battles :-)

Incase anyones interested - use Download Accelerator Plus, set it in tools->options->connection at a high speed. 480kbps constant! Downloaded in ~40mins

To be fair it did take me about 1.5 hours finding a decent download accelerator. Furnaces official "it sucks" list:

Was bored in skirmish so captured the nod contruction yard, built every nod structure and infintry then launched a nod nuclear missle, some missle that reacts to tiberium and some other air strike all at once at the gdi contruction yard and it surrvived lol.

I agree with that. I had awful problems getting a good speed until I tried DAP. Then it was done in an hour.

Anyone got a build order to defeat Brutal? I swear the cpu cheats...theres no way it can build like 30 tanks in 5mins...and get 25000 per min tiberium

Easy = dos about then kill them they only seem capable of infantry and the odd bit of machinery

Medium = set-up a working strategy (2 refinerys and make sure you have power) and build fast, i used a barrage of engi's (about 70) and took over their base

hard = invest heavily in base defence and tanks, beware of nukes, biobombs etc

brutal = now you get owned, i cant win, i can put up a loosing fight but that's it.

Don't know if its been posted before but you can play with the NOD side in skirmish mode by doing this.

"You can easily play as Nod, without modding the game in any way. However Scrin are still not playable. This was something posted on the Gamespot forums so I don't take credit for it.
Goto Skirmish:
Click the race selection tab, but do not select any. Move your mouse over the Nod selection and at the same time press N and click the mouse. It may take a few tries but it does work! Can also make the enemy GDI.(G + Mouse Click)"

Safe, I wanted to play as Nod when I first booted up the game. Ill give it a try in abit (assuming I dont pass out from my massive lack of sleep tonight!).
