Haven't played the demo much recently, there's only so many times you can play the same map! But i'm eagerly awaiting the release now, can't wait!

Preordered the same day I played the demo. Been playing Generals for years (yes, I know most of you dont like it...), cant wait!

About to pre-order but should I go for:

C&C3: Normal Version £26.99 - 10% disc. = £24.ish

C&C3: Kane Edition £29.99 - 10%disc. = £26.ish

Is it worth the £2.50 or so difference? :confused:

Anyone know the right command line parameter to use to force a resolution? I'm trying to play the demo on a 1360 x 768 screen but the settings screen only allows a max of 1280 x 720. Looked in the readme but what I'm trying doesn't seem to be working. I tried...

"D:\Electronic Arts\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars Demo\CNC3Demo.exe" -xres 1360 -yres 768

...but don't seem to having much luck. Can anyone help?

I pre-ordered the special edition the day i played the demo

What's annoying though is it comes out on the day i go away on holiday for a week :mad:

The way I found works to force the res (and I'm on 1360 x 768 too) is as follows:

Go to "C:\Documents and Settings\#username#\Application Data\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars Demo\Profiles\#username#" and open options.ini.

Edit (or add if there's not something there): Resolution = 1360 768

Works perfectly in true widescreen. Don't try and go into the video options in game though as it doesn't understand and if you change any options it will default to one it does.

Cheapest I've seen it. Pretty good for a 'special' edition.

Meh, basically a quid for each extra multiplayer.

*3 additional unit skins (one for each side)
*Behind the scenes dvd with blooper reel and stratagy guides
*5 Kane edition only multiplayer maps
*Game art
*Desktop wallpapers

I must have had my head in the sand for the last month, only just realised the demo is out!

Had a quick chance to play it last night and I have to say it looks pretty good. Definitely some multiplayer fun to be had as well as (hopefully) a good singleplayer.

Might pre-order it with a free NOD t-shirt from a certain online retailer lol
